Worth its 3 stars. This hotel was super base for exploring Montresor, liked it. Rooms are good sized and the bed is comfortable. Right by the downtown, 5 minutes on foot.

Mind-blowing location just outside of town. Superbly stunning old monastery with a jaw-droppingly huge room, comfiest bed ever, and an incredibly good bathroom. The lounge room with a fireplace and music was just the cherry on top. The dining room was great for breakfast, which although basic, was more than enough. Dinner in the private dining room was a treat, and the host was the friendliest and most welcoming. This place is an absolute must-experience for a magical stay!

Loved the beautiful old building and the atmosphere it created. The room was huge and comfortable, with a good bathroom. The communal lounge room was cozy with a fireplace and music, perfect for a romantic evening.
The breakfast was a bit limited and could have been more substantial. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, as we missed having a cuppa in the morning.

We had an amazing experience staying at La Corroirie. The building, an ancient former abbey, was full of character and had modern conveniences in the rooms. Our room was extraordinarily large and comfortable. The communal sitting room was a nice place to meet other guests. The owner was kind and polite, and the breakfast was delicious. The surrounding area is filled with history and nature, with ancient ruins and a beautiful field to explore. We can't wait to come back next year!
Cannot find any faults. 👍

The location of the hotel is great for exploring the surrounding areas, with convenient access to the Loire chateaux and wine towns. The rooms in the converted monastery are spacious and comfortable, with modern conveniences. The communal sitting room offers a comfortable space to relax and meet other guests.
The service at the hotel was minimal and grudging, with limited staff availability.

The location and surroundings were breathtaking, surrounded by nature and history. Comfortable rooms and spacious lounge. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. Delicious breakfast.
Not obvious to find.

The rooms were huge and super clean, and the staff was chill as can be. And let me tell you, the breakfast was off the hook! Fresh croissants, jam, and even goat cheese - it was a feast fit for kings. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring all the medieval castles in the area. We had a blast!
If there's one thing we would've liked, it's a better party scene for us young folks. Like, maybe a cool hangout spot where we could meet other teenagers and have some late-night fun.

The hotel facilities, especially the spa, were fantastic and provided a great experience. The location was perfect, being close to the city center and near the hop on off bus stop, making it convenient to explore this city. The staff at the reception were extremely helpful and provided excellent service.

The hotel's historical charm was captivating. Exploring the gardens made me feel like a modern-day princess. Free Wi-Fi was a lifesaver for checking my social media.
Breakfast selection was underwhelming. Who needs a good breakfast when you can have just a "hearty" one?

We had a wonderful experience at this special place. The adaptation of the monastery into spacious rooms worked well, offering a comfortable and peaceful stay. The ancient stones and enchanting roses added to the beauty and atmosphere. The room was decorated in a perfect medieval style with modern comforts, such as a power shower and comfortable bed. The sitting room for guests was atmospheric, with a huge fireplace and a library. Breakfast was delicious and served with panache by the friendly host, Jeff.
Nothing to dislike. 😊
